The high-speed development of global steel industry makes more and more suppliers study intensively on advanced technology for high-standard steel products to customers. Now, we introduce more knowledge about the adamite rolls

What are Adamite Rolls?
The adamite rolls also called adamite steel rolls has better strength and toughness than cast iron roll. It is widely used for work rolls in hot rolling mills. The adamite rolls are statically cast and go through multi stage heat treatment process followed by Tempering phases in order to develop the combination of hardness, toughness and wear resistance.
Adamite rolls chemical composition
The adamite roll materials can be considered as composite materials of two phases of coarse carbides and matrix. As a consequence the hardness of these roll materials may be markedly affected by the amount and hardness of coarse carbides. The carbon content of the alloy adamite roll is usually between 1.2-2.3% and the rest alloy elements contain Cr, Ni, Mo V, etc. The free carbide mass fraction is generally about 6% to 10% with small hardness drop, good wear resistance, good toughness, significantly reduced consumption. The Standard includes ISO, GB, ASTM, DIN, JIS.

Applications of Adamite Rolls
